Its long-filler leaves come from three of Nicaragua’s top tobacco producing regions: Condega, Esteli, and Jalapa. The cigar was developed to celebrate Dr. Gaby Kafie’s 50th birthday, the brand’s founder. Kafie collaborated with La Aurora Cigars’ master blender Manuel Inoa to develop the blend, which consists of all Dominican tobacco and features a smooth, natural Corojo wrapper and long-filler leaves.  • Kafie 1901 Sumatra – a medium to full-bodied smoking indulgence with a rich complexity and noticeable transitions. Handmade in the Dominican Republic at the famed La Aurora Cigars factory, the Sumatra is composed of long-filler leaves from Peru, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic. The filler is covered with a Dominican binder, which is draped by a red-hued Ecuadorian Sumatra sun grown wrapper.  Stored in a sealed-for-freshness pack with a Boveda humidifier.
