This eye-catching ashtray is meticulously hand carved from “Marmolina,” which is a type of soapstone. The ashtrays are made by highly skilled artisans from San Juan de Lemay in Nicaragua who use machetes and chisels to create its familiar tobacco leaf shape. Once carved, the ashtrays are polished with a gentle buffing cloth. Each hand crafted ashtray is a unique and one-of-a-kind work of functional art. The ashtrays are nested in a wooden box.
