The La Aurora Preferidos line is known worldwide as being an ultra-premium cigar that can easily hold its own among any of the best out there. The Preferidos Broadleaf Diamond uses a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper covering a Dominican binder and Brazilian and Dominican fillers, and delivers absolutely delicious complex notes of leather, black pepper and coffee. Add in flawless construction and a delectable aroma, and you have yourself a pretty perfect cigar worthy of the most special of occasions.

Most cigars are manufactured in the Caribbean and Central America.
The Dominican Republic is the world's first producer of cigars. Most factories are located in Santiago, in the center of the island, and in close proximity to the tobacco fields grown in the fertile Cibao Valley. While tobacco and cigars have always traditionally been produced in the Dominican Republic, many Cuban cigar makers established in the Dominican Republic after the Cuban communist revolution, elevating the quality of Dominican cigars.

The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
Connecticut Broadleaf is grown in the United States' Connecticut Valley and is prized for its dark, oily, full flavored and aromatic characteristics. The plants are grown in full sun giving this cigar wrapper its characteristic sweetness. The Connecticut Broadleaf plant leaves are mainly processed as maduro tobacco. Today, Connecticut Broadleaf seeds are being grown in other countries besides the United States.

Dominican Republic
The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.
Dominican Republic is a traditional tobacco-growing country. In the 60's, a Cuban seed was introduced and the resulting tobacco, called Piloto Cubano, became famous as a good substitute of the Cuban tobacco that was no longer allowed to enter the USA. Piloto Cubano is full bodied while the Dominican Olor tobacco is milder but more aromatic.

Brazil
Filler is the term used to describe the tobacco inside a cigar or the "guts" of the cigar.
Brazil produces rich, medium to strong, dark tobaccos with a sweet taste and aroma. Most of the cigar production is concentrated on the eastern coast of Brazil, in the state of Bahia.
Dominican Republic

We ended up buying these by complete luck, went in to a cigar shop and needed some cigars for my wedding. The gentleman stated he had a buy one get on free sale on this cigar (well all of these brands) and I bought 4 of these. They draw is great, aroma is outstanding, almost has a pipe tabacco type sent to it. The burn is great. I smoke these all the time now. When I ordered they came in the box sealed which is a nice thing to see that companies still do. If your a cigar fan you should try these.

Very Dissapointed this Sampler, I started with the Corojo Gold, loose Draw and Cheap Full Flavor Saturated, then I took the Platinum and tight Draw also got disarmed after some minutes, this cigars are complete overpriced, waste of money, avoid!
