The 1502 XO is Global Premium Cigar’s masterpiece cigar. Handmade at the Plasencia Cigars factory in Nicaragua, the 1502 XO is expertly crafted of undisclosed tobaccos, some of which are carefully aged for 18 years. According to Enrique Sanchez, Global’s founder, “The 1502 XO achieves the perfect balance of flavor and strength.” A full-bodied stick, the 1502 XO has an overall sweetness highlighted with peppery notes. The 1502 XO is a limited-edition annual release featuring an aged complexity that is few and far between.

Christopher Columbus discovered Nicaragua in 1502, little did he know the country would become one of the world's largest producers of the finest tobacco there is today. The 1502 XO is a brilliant example of what Nicaraguan tobacco can do. Bold and rich, this cigar boasts a beautiful dark maduro wrapper with a smooth and open draw. Burn stayed even for the most part, had to touch up the burn once or twice but the draw stayed fantastic throughout! The 1502 XO has been aged for 18 years; it reflects that with it's bold blend of roasted nuts, dark chocolate, and spice. Great for enthusiasts of cigars with a peppery bite to them. This cigar only comes out once a year so get it while you can!
