Ask
Pat  Are these flavored or sweet tipped?

  • NeptuneCigar.com  This cigar isn't flavor, but has a light natural sweetness from the Ecuadorian wrapper and a sweet aroma.

  • Anonymous  It def has some sweetness to it that isn’t natural. It has a sweet tip of some sort

  • NeptuneCigar.com  According to the manufacturer, it is not a sweetened cigar, but to be perfectly honest, many who have tried them seem to feel otherwise.

  • Anonymous  Just smoked one (corona) last night and it is definitely a sweetened tip. Swisher Sweets totally came to mind. I’m not a fan and will give the rest of them away.

This is a great cigar for pipe smokers looking to try a cigar and those that smoke sweetened infused cigars looking to transition to a non- infused cigar. It's naturally sweetened from the tobacco, definitely aromatic. Great burn and draw with medium flavor of sweet fruit, bread, pepper, and an almost brandy like flavor. Good if you're looking for something different.

I grabbed one of these because it's new and promised an "aromatic" experience, so I was hoping for a flavor reminiscent of pipe tobacco... It doesn't taste like pipe tobacco. However, I did not find the flavor repellent. It tasted quite nice, mild, and of course sweet. It has the sweetened tip, but it doesn't taste like your grandma's sweet n low like other sweetened tips. It tasted like real sugar and it wasn't so strong as to put me off the experience. The burn was wonky so my lighter got a workout, and it was rolled so loose that by the end, the stub was pinched flat. The draw was therefore predictably wide open. I don't mind a mild, sweetened cigar on occasion. This one is not going to go on my top ten list anytime soon, but when I'm at the B&M and just want to throw ten bucks at a local business for something pleasant and uncomplicated, this fits the bill.

Soft construction, open draw, uneven burn with a few touchups needed. Very mild and not much smoke output. Overwhelmingly flavor of cloyingly sweet burnt brown sugar/toasted marshmallows and an aroma like a Swisher Sweet or Black & Mild. It was so bad I was only able to smoke about half of it before throwing it away.
