The Rojas Breakfast Tacos are petit robustos handmade in Nicaragua, offered in three distinct wrappers, Ecuadorian Connecticut, Ecuadorian Sumatra, and Mexican San Andrés Maduro, each over Nicaraguan binder and fillers. These 30-count bundled cigars deliver plenty of flavor in a short format, ranging from the creamy, nutty smoothness of the Connecticut, to the spiced, toasty depth of the Sumatra, and the earthy cocoa richness of the Maduro. Designed for a quick yet satisfying smoke, they showcase Rojas’ talent for packing bold, nuanced flavors into a compact size.
Cigar Origin
Nicaragua
Most cigars are manufactured in the Caribbean and Central America.
Despite many decades of war and revolution in this Central American country, the cigar industry has thrived due to the hard work and tenacity of Cuban exiles to the land such as Plasencia, Padron, Oliva, Ortez, and others. Tobacco has been a force of social stability, and the country is now one of the principal exporters of premium cigars in the world.
Strength
Wrapper Color
Claro
Cigar wrapper color varies from green (Double Claro or Candela) to black (Maduro or Oscuro) with a full range of browns in between.
Claro wrapper is light, yellowish brown in color.
Wrapper
Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade
The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
Ecuador is the perfect place to grow wrappers, because it is located on the Equator! And it has rich soils too. The weather conditions, with a nearly permanent cloudy sky, provide a natural shade, protecting the wrapper plants from sunshine and allowing the tobacco to grow thin and light. This climate allows tobacco growers to grow Connecticut-seed wrapper in the shade without shade cloths, resulting in more economical wrapper.
Binder
Nicaragua
The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.
Nicaraguan cigar binders are produced mainly in Esteli and Jalapa, both lands with volcanic soil and excellent climate for growing tobacco. Binders grown in Jalapa have sweet undertones. Corojo, Habana2000, Criollo, and Maduro binders are all produced in Nicaragua.
Filler
Nicaragua
Filler is the term used to describe the tobacco inside a cigar or the "guts" of the cigar.
Rolled by
Handmade
Handmade cigars are completely made by hand from start to finish.

Sweet spice, white pepper, and dark chocolate lead this street-food-inspired smoke. Rojas Street Tacos Al Pastor uses an Ecuador Habano wrapper over a Mexican San Andrés binder with Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers for a medium-to-full profile that balances savor and sweetness. It’s the fourth blend in the Street Tacos Series, released in April 2025 and named after Mexico’s trompo-roasted al pastor.

It’s common knowledge that most cigar crafters get some of their inspiration for a new cigar from non-cigar related things like food. And Noel Rojos of Rojas Cigars is no different. The Rojas Street Tacos Barbacoa was inspired by the tacos sold through food trucks and cart vendors in city streets. It was also inspired by the open fire or in-ground cooking methods used by the indigenous people of the Caribbean and Central American (over the years “Barbacoa” has evolved to mean barbecue). The Street Tacos Barbacoa cigar features a rustic, oily, dark-brown Ecuadorian wrapper covering a Nicaraguan binder and filler leaves from the Somoto region of Nicaragua. This is a medium strength, flavorful stick that is handmade at Tabacalera Flor de San Luis factory in Nicaragua.
