This full-bodied cigar exudes notes of spice, vanilla, and floral. Its long-filler leaves from Honduras and Nicaragua and a Honduran Connecticut-seed binder are covered by a Cameroon maduro wrapper. It is part of the Alec Bradley Trilogy series of triangular shaped cigars. The unique triangular shape of the cigar was designed by Alan Rubin, founder of Alec Bradley cigars. He even developed the mold that shapes the cigar. The Alec Bradley Trilogy Native Cameroon is handmade by Plasencia Cigars in Honduras.

  Originally released in 2002, the Alec Bradley Trilogy is a three-blend premium cigar series that was known for having a triangular shape. Alan Rubin, the founder of Alec Bradley Cigars, came-up with the concept after a conversation with a fellow cigar crafter who said he was tired of seeing round cigars. This lament inspired Rubin to come-up with the Trilogy. He even designed and created the triangular mold that gives the cigar its unique shape. While the Trilogy brand was very popular when it first came out, it was eventually put on hiatus. But now it’s back by popular demand. The Trilogy series includes: the Authentic Corojo, Exotic Maduro and the Native Cameroon. The blends were carefully selected to represent the Trilogy’s original flavor and aroma. All three cigars are handmade in Honduras by Plasencia Cigars.

  A box pressed cigar is a cigar that has a square shape. Originally, this shape came from the practice of packing round cigars tightly in cardboard boxes which are then compacted using a manual press. The cigars are thus pressed into each other and become a "squarish" or semi-square shape. Today, cigar makers use square shaped molds or a wooden trunk press for their box pressed cigars, achieving a more defined square section.

Danli and the Jamastran Valley is considered the heart of Honduras’ cigar industry. The Jamastran Valley is known for producing a full-bodied tobacco that draws strong comparisons to the tobacco grown in the Pinar del Rio region of Cuba. This same region is also known for its Connecticut shade grown and Corojo shade grown tobacco. In addition, Honduras produces Cuban-seed sun grown filler tobaccos of the highest quality.

  Cameroon wrappers are grown in the East part of the country. The growing area spreads over the eastern border, into the Central African Republic. Wrappers are air grown, without fertilizers and pesticides, by small farmers. The average plantation size is about one acre. The seed is originally from Sumatra, introduced in the country just after WWII.
