In honor of Nestor Miranda’s 75th birthday (Miami Cigar & Company’s founder) the 75th Anniversary is a limited edition premium cigar that is sure to be a legend. A full-strength puro, the 75th Anniversary’s wrapper, binder, and filler tobaccos come from Estelí, Nicaragua, a region well-known for making some of the finest cigars in the world. The Nestor Miranda Private Reserve is a limited release cigar line that was developed by its namesake and co-founder, Nestor Miranda, of the iconic Miami Cigar & Co., which is located in Miami, Florida. The blend and its vitola were specifically chosen by Miranda himself. It is expertly hand crafted at the famed La Aurora factory in the Dominican Republic. This is the second Nestor Miranda branded line that is produced in the Dominican Republic. The first release was the Nestor Miranda 70th LE Dominican in 2013. And like its predecessor, the Nestor Miranda Private Reserve provides a mesmerizing smoking experience that will make you wish it was a regular release.
Cigar Origin
Dominican Republic
Most cigars are manufactured in the Caribbean and Central America.
The Dominican Republic is the world's first producer of cigars. Most factories are located in Santiago, in the center of the island, and in close proximity to the tobacco fields grown in the fertile Cibao Valley. While tobacco and cigars have always traditionally been produced in the Dominican Republic, many Cuban cigar makers established in the Dominican Republic after the Cuban communist revolution, elevating the quality of Dominican cigars.

Corojo

Corojo wrapper was first developed in Cuba in the 1930s and quickly became popular as the wrapper on some of the best cigars. By the end of the 90s, Cuba stopped growing Corojo wrapper because of its susceptibility to pests and diseases. Ironically, Corojo wrapper has since become more popular outside of Cuba, as it has been replicated in tobacco farms in Nicaragua, Honduras, Ecuador and the Dominican Republic.
Dominican
The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
The main tobacco region in the Dominican Republic is the Cibao valley in the northern part of the island. In the 60s, Cuban seeds were brought here by exiled Cuban cigar makers and found that they grew exceptional cigar tobacco, called Piloto Cubano. The native Dominican tobacco, called Olor, is milder than Piloto Cubano yet more aromatic. The first company to grow Dominican tobacco for cigar wrapper was Tabacalera Arturo Fuente in 1995.

The "Garcia Family Industrial Park" located in Esteli, Nicaragua is a seven-acre complex with 9 buildings, over 1900 employees, where the Garcias supervise their cigar production from the tobacco field to the roller's table. Their Miami headquarters house 12 rollers that make all of the company's "handmade in Miami" brands.
