The Fonseca by My Father is a re-imagined version of the original brand, which was founded by Don Francisco Fonseca in Cuba over a century ago. It is expertly handmade at the Garcia Family Industrial Park in Nicaragua, which is owned by My Father Cigar. The Fonseca My Father is a Nicaraguan puro that features a dark red-hued shade-grown Corojo ’98 wrapper. It is made from tobacco grown entirely on the Garcia family farm. The original Fonseca cigars were wrapped in tissue paper. In keeping with tradition, the Fonseca by My Father Cosaco (Corona, 5"3/8 * 42) vitola is wrapped in tissue.

The Fonseca Edition MX cigar is the second release of this storied brand. The Edition MX is made with a binder and long-filler leaves grown in farms owned and operated by Jose “Don Pepin” Garcia and his family. Then, a mouthwatering Mexican San Andres maduro wrapper is used to add a delicious milk chocolatey contrast to the cigar’s spicy profile. The cigars are handmade in Nicaragua by My Father Cigars.
