Serie O is made by the Oliva family in the original Cuban tradition of growing the same Habano seed in diverse regions of the country to produce a distinct blend. This blend was achieved by growing Habano in Esteli, Condega and Jalapa Valley. The Serie O has notes of dark tobacco with spice and rich cedar.

The company's flagship brand, Oliva Serie V, has obtained some of the highest ratings in cigar publications worldwide. Their cigars use mostly tobacco harvested by the company in their various farms in Nicaragua.

Bought this mainly as a gift and for myself for a included cigar cutter. DO NOT BUY THIS FOR THE CUTTER! It's worthly and the biggest p.o.c. cutter! Both were faulty. One was not even welded together properly from the factory and the other barley opens and operates well. Stick with a $6 plastic is better than this utter garbage. P.s. the cigars are fine smokers.

Solid medium+ strength cigar. The first third was amazing, sweet cocoa, espresso, leather and orange zest flavors. However, the 2nd and final thirds are more earthy, and bitter, didn't like it as much. Nonetheless, a pretty good smoke. Burn was a bit wavy but manageable.

For a under $7 cigar it was a miss for me. This is the first cigar that i couldn't finish . Handsome habano wrapper with lots of teeth and some small veins here and there. Looks very similar to the wrapper used on the Ashton heritage, but a darker priming. Starts out very spicy and woody with rich, dense clouds of smoke and a perfect draw. It develops a semi-sweet floral/citrus note along with elements that are characteristic of other Olivas. Kind of like a mix between G and V. Burn is fairly even despite the veins and creates nice stacks of grey ash that tend to want to fall after an inch or so. While not a big fan of the robusto in this series, I feel like this is 5 pack or box worthy.

Nicaraguan wrapper cracked almost every time I lit up. I have had better success with the Cameroon wrappers on Olivia’s other Serie G. I enjoy the flavor that the wrappers offer to the overall taste so this Perfecto is not as good as the special wrapper.

Prominent spice and woods in the first third. Second third, spice is dialed down a notch and a coffee note appears. A little sweet and toasty on the finish. Lost some points due to a restricted draw and some underfermentation on part of the wrapper, but for the money, it's hard to complain. Definitely worth a shot! Think I'll stick with the robusto however. Never had a tight draw on one of those.

I waited 3 months to get these smokes, which was totally beyond Neptune’s control - AND the whole episode is a true cigar story! The box had some travel damage to it, but Neptune’s really good packaging and It’s tough post bag ensured the cigars arrived in great condition. The cigars protected from COVID by cellophane, the wooden box and 3 layers of plastic. I’ve smoked 2 of them, so this is a double review: they had a nice easy draw, and I’m no cigar “rating“ expert, but I could taste a beautiful nut flavour through both of them. The cigars both had a really good aroma. Neither cigar got hot even at the end, and both nights, I watched a good movie. Take your time with these, they both lasted 2 & 1/2 hours. Thank you again Neptune, your after sales service was also terrific.

I bought this box because of a good experience with the Serie O in a sampler. While I prefer bold, full flavored cigars, the Serie O, taken in context of its Habana style, doesn't disappoint. Construction is excellent but not flawless. Draw is good but seems to find the inevitable tight spot. Burn perfomance is very good, right up to the tight spot. Let's get to the important part - taste. I would scale this as a mild flavored, medium bodied cigar. Flavor transitions are very slight. In foodie terms, the taste reminds me of coffee with 3 creams and a sugar, biscuit sprinkled with cocoa on the side. Spice is almost non-existent. The taste lingers well on the palate and makes you want more. While not transitional, sweetness, nuttiness, and leather are in the rotation. I consider this a value cigar from a dependable maker. No regrets about buying the box.

I am more of a medium body type of cigar guy. This one fit the bill perfectly. I usually have the Series G and, while they were good, they could be bit much. I tried these on a whim and I am very pleased. They have burned evenly every time. They start good and get better all the way to the end. They don't bite at the end like some cigars do. I would call this one a "Freddy the Freeloader" special. You smoke it all the way to the nub...and then some.

There are some consistency issues across this sampler. The best performer was the Connecticut. They all had fairly decent flavor, but burn and draw wasn’t consistent throughout. That’s why a sampler is a good value. You learn a lot. Oliva’s are good I’ll try a similar sampler in robusto next time. I’m a torpedo fan. I feel it a shape that can go a long way in maximizing flavor or expressing shortcomings in a cigar.

I got this and the Serie O torpedo at the same time. The Torpedo really impressed me, price-to-value-wise. The Perfecto, while a gorgeous shape, left me wanting more. It is much more mild, and at the same time a bit more harsh as it burns down to the nub. Ironically it costs slightly more than the torpedo (<$1.00, but hey). If you want a light "golf course" smoke, it'll do the job, but frankly was a bit of a letdown. I've generally been a fan of Oliva -- while this stick wasn't bad per se, it definitely did not impress me as much as the other Serie O or Serie O maduros. YMMV.

Stunning cigar for under $7.00 - well worth twice the price. Smooth like the Serie O, and loads of balanced ceder/woody notes. The Serie O maudros are richer, but if you like naturals, this is an amazing stick. Will keep a few around for the occasional smoke and for guests - the shape will impress, the quality is high, and the cigar strength won't spook anyone.

What to say? Oliva is always a cinch, it never disappoints you. The "Serie O" is a little harsh and not so fully appreciable as the "V" Series or the wonderful Melanios but still is perfectly balanced and offers an aroma and flavour that never stops intriguing. For the price of these sticks, I would buy a dozen boxes. Highly recommended.

Ok I admit it, I'm a cigar snob. I have a selective selection of Cuban and non Cuban cigars in my humidor that I love smoking and tend not to deviate too much. Having said that the Oliva Serie V, in my opinion, is one of the best non Cuban cigars out there. With this is mind I decided to go out of my comfort zone and try the Oliva four pack sampler. Packaging: simply first class. Neptune Cigars did an awesome job ensuring my cigars arrived undamaged and as fresh as possible; Thank You! Oliva Serie G: first of all its allergy season where I'm from, and I'm suffering from its effects, which perhaps may have altered my taste buds. Appearance wise the Serie G looked great. A beautiful dark wrapper with very little veins. Taste wise this is definitely a mild-medium body cigar. I found the taste stayed consistent throughout the entire smoke. The cigar had a good ash and even burn. I was deeply impressed that it didn't require any touch ups considering I was golfing on a windy day. Overall impression: I found the taste very one dimensional; just average from start to finish until it got bitter as I approached the nub; nothing spectacular. My rating of this cigar: 2 stars. Oliva Serie O: a much better smoke compared to the Serie G. I was initially disappointed that the ash didn't hold like many good cigars, namely falling off around the three quarters of an inch mark. After about ten minutes into the smoke this cigar gives off an incredible aroma which is very pleasing. About the half way mark the smoke gets thicker and left very good after taste in my palate. One big draw back to this cigar is that it required constant touch ups. More so as I got closer to the band. As I like to smoke my cigars down to the nub, the constant touch ups just left a bitter taste in my mouth, and it was time to retire this cigar. Overall, a decent smoke with a good price point making this a decent-good cigar for every day occasions. My rating for this cigar: 3 stars. O

Believe it or not this Perfecto smokes and draws like a dream from beginning to end. I have tried both the Toro and the Robusto shapes in the Series "O" and, to my taste, the Perfecto seems milder and more refined. A couple of weeks ago I ordered a few Perfectos from Neptune to try and enjoyed them so much I ordered a box. Very nice cigar !

I mostly smoke toro's 50-52 ring, but I really like this thicker ring gauge. It's true this stick starts off spicy a little bit of a bite, then it mellows out very nicely, halfway it gets a little harsh & the burn starts to travel which I hate in a cigar. The draw is good w/plenty of smoke, nice tight ash overall, average cigar.

I am very partial to almost all of the Series blends. In the AM, my first cigar is almost always Special "G". I enjoy the Series "O" or Series "V" for midday smoke. And now that Winter is over in the Midwest I can spend more time out of doors to enjoy the Toro length. Once it gets cold again I will switch back to the Robusto.

The Oliva "O" series fits nicely between the G and V Series. Not as robust and the V's but still a very satisfying smoke. I am on my third box. For my taste, it is a good, everyday, afternoon or evening smoke.

Very nice cigar. This particular one had a knot in one of the wrapper leaves and consistently wouldn't burn in the same shape in but in three different areas down the entire cigar. Each of the three knots looked like a hammer face on. However, the flavour was very nice. Started off very strong and peppery, settling down between full and medium flavour within about ten minutes. I'll give the second one a chance later on to see if the wrapper was a one off.

I loved this cigar, excellent draw, perfect burn and great favors, what more can you ask for. The last half of the cigar was really enjoyable, dark roasted coffee favors with hints of dark chocolate. The first half was pretty much a woody flavor but still smooth throughout the entire smoke. Great cigar!
