The cigars in the Rocky Patel White Label brand were crafted from tobaccos that have been carefully aged for ten years to allow their flavors to fully develop. It is composed of a silky-smooth, delicious USA Connecticut Shade wrapper that was grown in the Connecticut River Valley. This highly sought-after wrapper is expertly draped over a Nicaraguan binder and filler composed of leaves from Nicaragua and the Jamastran Valley in Honduras, a region known for its excellent tobacco. The Rocky Patel White Label cigars are handmade in Nicaragua.

Despite many decades of war and revolution in this Central American country, the cigar industry has thrived due to the hard work and tenacity of Cuban exiles to the land such as Plasencia, Padron, Oliva, Ortez, and others. Tobacco has been a force of social stability, and the country is now one of the principal exporters of premium cigars in the world.

Cigar wrapper color varies from green (Double Claro or Candela) to black (Maduro or Oscuro) with a full range of browns in between.
Natural wrapper, also known as Colorado Claro, is light brown in color.

The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
The Connecticut Valley, in the Northeast of the USA, is well known for its bright golden wrapper. Because of a very hot and sunny summer, the tobacco is shade grown to make the leaf more delicate with few veins and even surface. Connecticut Shade wrapper grown in the United States has a mild to medium flavor and a silky quality, making it one of the most expensive and sought-after cigar wrappers in the cigar industry.

The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.
Nicaraguan cigar binders are produced mainly in Esteli and Jalapa, both lands with volcanic soil and excellent climate for growing tobacco. Binders grown in Jalapa have sweet undertones. Corojo, Habana2000, Criollo, and Maduro binders are all produced in Nicaragua.

Good construction and burn. I'm not a Connecticut guy really but this is a good one with really nice flavors...that being said the price point is to high it's not up to the level of davidoff or diamond crown but is priced the same. It is equivalent in my book to the brulee or charter oak and those cost way less
