The Maria Lucia is a limited-edition cigar that is named after the mother of Luciano Meirelles, who is the co-founder and CEO of Luciano Cigars. Luciano dedicated the cigars to honor his mother’s legacy of being someone who faced and overcame the many obstacles in her life. The cigar’s band features a drawing of Maria Lucia. The illustration was created by Deborah, Luciano’s daughter. The cigar’s blend consists of a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper that covers a dual binder of Ecuadorian Sumatra and Ecuadorian Habano ’92 leaves, and filler tobaccos from Nicaragua, Peru, and the Dominican Republic. Once lit, the cigar offers a complexity of flavors that will appeal to both veteran and novice smokers. The cigars are handmade by Luciano Cigars in Nicaragua.
