Chateau Real Cigars

Drew Estate gained much fame with the success of their flavored cigar blends, and to prove that they are capable of keeping with tradition, they introduced the Chateau Real series. Meant to be a smooth, mild smoke, the Chateau Real is made with a silky golden brown shade-grown wrapper and has a taste reminiscent of old Havana blends.

Chateau Real

Drew Estate created the Chateau Real cigar for the cigar connoisseur who craves refined premium cigars that are mild, nutty, sweet and creamy. Reminiscent of pre-embargo clear Havana blends that are mild to medium bodied and smooth, the Chateau Real is made with a golden brown silky shade grown wrapper.

Loved it! Burnt a little too fast for my liking, it went down in about 35-40 min. Notes of Cayenne pepper, cedar, earthiness and bit of creamy aftertaste. Milder cigar for one of those days when you don't feel like a Liga Privada heavy weight.

Not even the red wine I drank with dinner made a positive effect on the bitter tar taste. Will not buy again.

a beautiful cigar, smooth draw, a mouthful of smoke, solid ash, very relaxing, and extremely morish

This is the lowest rating I’ve ever given a cigar from my Neptune Monthly cigar club. I’ve enjoyed a number of great Drew Estate cigars, but the Chateau Real didn’t do it for me.

Not bad for a $7 cigar. It was better than most budget Connecticut blends on the market with a shuttle creaminess and decent flavors, but the draw and burn weren't great. Maybe another month or two of rest will help elevate the experience.

Upon lightup, Drew Estate's new Chateau Real proved to be a great choice in the mild-to-medium category. The smoke had a great consistency to it and the cigar had an even burn throughout, but that's not to mention the flavor. Upon lightup it was slightly spicy, but before long that smoothed out into an incredible experience of nuts, wood and cream. This cigar might be on the lighter side of what I usually like to smoke, but that doesn't mean there's not an occasion for everything! The second third continued the smoke's creamy consistency, while also adding notes of wood and subtle sweetness. All in all, it is a great smoke to pair with something like a coffee or beer. The natural sweetness and creaminess would go great with coffee, and it won't overpower the taste of whatever beer you're drinking either.

Flavorful but mild to medium body.

This was my first time smoking Drew's oldie, I thought it was a good cigar for the price and it smoked well without a hitch.
