Honduras, a Central American country which shares a border with Nicaragua, is widely known in the premium cigar industry as the ideal place to grow Cuban and Connecticut seed tobaccos. Danli and the Jamastran Valley is considered the heart of Honduras’ cigar industry. The Jamastran Valley is known for producing a full-bodied tobacco that draws strong comparisons to the tobacco grown in the Pinar del Rio region of Cuba. This same region is also known for its Connecticut shade grown and Corojo shade grown tobacco. In addition, Honduras produces Cuban-seed sun grown filler tobaccos of the highest quality.

Never heard of CLE and I tried this pack on a whim and I'm glad I did! It was an eye opener from the light up! The Connecticut and Prieto were my favorite! The construction held well until about an inch of ash formed and started to fray and fall off. Other then that, great cigars!

Received 1 CLE CONNECTICUT with an Asylum sampler and threw it in the humidor and forgot about it. Connecticuts are usually too mild, the hay an earth usually don't appeal to me but when I finally smoked this stick, I lt was not like any I've had before. 1st off,, the construction is top notch,, the transitions in flavors had my attention all the way to the nub. Nutty cashew, salted buttery creamy notes of light charred wood with a touch of honey lingered. Very slight pinch of spice. The draw is open and airy which allowed for a razor sharp burn with slow and even inhales. I think this would be a great alternative for a cuban fix. Im looking forward to sampling the rest.

One of my favorite cigars. Right out of the box, the aroma is inviting to the senses. Once, lit, the initial draw is perfect. The flavors are complex. Sweet, salty and spicy all in one. I would go further to say honey, nuts and spice but not peppery. It leaves you wanting more. Buy 1. Buy a box.
