The Los Statos Deluxe cigar brand is a reengineered and revitalized version of the original. As creative director for General Cigar Co., Matt Booth (of Room 101) was tapped to work with Justin Andrews also of General to give this iconic brand a complete makeover. The Los Statos Deluxe is a medium-bodied cigar with a smooth, warm-brown Ecuadorian Sumatra-seed wrapper artfully placed over a Nicaraguan binder and filler leaves from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. The cigar with its noticeable flavor transitions will appeal to the traditional smoker as well as the aficionado who’s looking for something new.
Cigar Origin
Honduras
Most cigars are manufactured in the Caribbean and Central America.
Honduras, a Central American country which shares a border with Nicaragua, is widely known in the premium cigar industry as the ideal place to grow Cuban and Connecticut seed tobaccos. Danli and the Jamastran Valley is considered the heart of Honduras’ cigar industry. The Jamastran Valley is known for producing a full-bodied tobacco that draws strong comparisons to the tobacco grown in the Pinar del Rio region of Cuba. This same region is also known for its Connecticut shade grown and Corojo shade grown tobacco. In addition, Honduras produces Cuban-seed sun grown filler tobaccos of the highest quality.

Cigar Origin
Dominican Republic
Most cigars are manufactured in the Caribbean and Central America.
The Dominican Republic is the world's first producer of cigars. Most factories are located in Santiago, in the center of the island, and in close proximity to the tobacco fields grown in the fertile Cibao Valley. While tobacco and cigars have always traditionally been produced in the Dominican Republic, many Cuban cigar makers established in the Dominican Republic after the Cuban communist revolution, elevating the quality of Dominican cigars.
