Introduced in 1978 as the first brand of Tabacos Rancho Jamastran, this mild to medium cigar is made with Honduran tobacco grown in the rich soil of the Jamastran Valley. Wrapped in light brown Connecticut seed shade wrapper, these bundled cigars are great quality for the price.

Honduras, a Central American country which shares a border with Nicaragua, is widely known in the premium cigar industry as the ideal place to grow Cuban and Connecticut seed tobaccos. Danli and the Jamastran Valley is considered the heart of Honduras’ cigar industry. The Jamastran Valley is known for producing a full-bodied tobacco that draws strong comparisons to the tobacco grown in the Pinar del Rio region of Cuba. This same region is also known for its Connecticut shade grown and Corojo shade grown tobacco. In addition, Honduras produces Cuban-seed sun grown filler tobaccos of the highest quality.

If your looking for a value cigar made of sawdust for filler, troll dandruff for binder and solidified goblin tears as a wrapper THIS AIN'T IT. Pleasantly surprised with this value priced bundle cigar. It's not a Opas X but for a all day smoke it's perfect. Thin but durable wrapper that did not split, slightly soft construction with a easy draw. Unlike many bundle cigars I have had over the years it wasn't bitter or metallic tasting from the start and was a pleasant smoke from start to finish. Think I just found my new daily smoke and will be ordering a couple of bundles more with my next order.

I'm not usually a fan of sweet tips but these have a subtle sweetness that isn't overpowering. Three to four days in the humidor seems to really bring out their flavor. They also burn impressively even from one stick to the next and are well constructed. Have smoked six and yet to experience canoeing. First third is light, slightly sweet, and smooth. Second third brings out vanilla. Last third is strong medium with pepper added to vanilla. All in all a nice little bundle cigar well worth the money.

Took it out of the wrapper, had a sponge like feel to it, sweet easy dry draw, easy to light and keep lit, not the cigar of your choice if you like smoking cigars to the nub because they will get extremely harsh. Good every day smoke and good on your wallet.

A long filler that was enjoyed for a good 90min. The appearance and construction is good, a easy draw, with a nice aroma and not too heavy. The flavour is that of leather and pepper but was mild and smooth from start to finish. This cigar would please many people. Will buy these again.

A friend gave me one and I liked it. Decided to buy and have been pleasantly surprised. They have now become my day cigar. They are inexpensive and a good smoke. Smooth, good aroma, no bite at the tail end of the smoke and they look like a more expensive brand. This is a cigar that I feel good in recommending, especially for someone who may just be getting into cigar smoking and I will continue to buy.

This was a much better cigar than the Lonsdale that I tried. The dominant flavor was an earthy hay that remained pretty clean and smooth right about to the band. Not my favorite flavor, but still pleasant. The burn was quite good. Overall, not a bad smoke, but certainly not my favorite in this price range.

First of all, the burn on this cigar was flawless. It was perfectly even, easy to keep it warm, and even stayed warm when left alone for several minutes at a time. Right after toasting, the first dozen or so draws were wonderfully rich and nutty. Unfortunately, that didn't last long. The flavors quickly turned to a mild charred ashy cedar that wasn't so great. Overall, not terrible, but certainly not the best cigar in this price range.

A disappointment after getting excited about the Sobrano. The first half had a less than pleasant flavor and burned nice and even. The second half got better with every puff and almost made up for what went before, but cold not burn evenly even with several touchups. Other than that the second half was quite nice in both flavor and aroma.

I have been smoking this brand for almost 20 years. It is such a consistently good cigar, I am hesitant to try any other. Only once in 20 years did I get a few that I could not draw well and Neptune replaced them right away. I would not shop anywhere else. The customer service is outstanding

I love this cigar. The taste is very mild with a slight sweetness on the tip. It draws great and burns fairly consistant. I get 6-7 holes of golf from one cigar. I keep this for guests and special circumstances.
