Artesano del Tobacco Cigars

After being in the brick and mortar side of the premium cigar business for more than twenty years, brothers Billy and Gus Fakih decided to try their hand at crafting cigars. So, they formed Artesano de Tobaccos. And, in 2019 they launched the “Viva la Vida” cigar which was a huge success.  In 2023, the brothers released the “El Pulpo” cigar. Artesano del Tobacco is dedicated to creating boutique premium cigars by using the finest tobaccos, Billy and Gus’s passion for cigars, and eye-catching packaging that enhances the aficionados’ smoking experience. To help them create their cigars, the Fakihs have enlisted the aid of master cigarmaker AJ Fernandez. The cigars are handmade at AJ’s San Lotano factory in Nicaragua. 

El Pulpo by Artesano del Tobacco

For more than five years, Artesano del Tobacco has worked on developing a unique blend that will capture the imagination and palate of cigar aficionados just like their first release Viva La Vida. And they did. The blend uses a mouthwatering Mexican San Andres maduro wrapper that’s stuffed with premium Nicaraguan tobacco from AJ Fernandez’s farms in Nicaragua. The El Pulpo is a full-strength, full-bodied cigar with a deep complexity that will surround your palate with its pleasing profile. The cigars are expertly hand crafted at AJ Fernandez’s San Lotano factory in Ocotal, Nicaragua.

The Viva La Vida is a full-bodied, full-strength cigar that is hand crafted by AJ Fernandez in Nicaragua. Its oily, reddish Habano maduro wrapper covers a Nicaraguan Corojo binder and a Criollo ’98 filler. The Vida La Vida delivers invigorating notes of black pepper and leather.
