Avo Syncro Ritmo is an homage to the brand's creator, musician Avo Uvezian. A sophisticated cigar made with tobacco from 7 different countries: Nicaragua, Peru, Brazil,, Honduras, Dominican Republic, Mexico and Ecuador. This complex smoke is robust with notes of pepper, roast coffee and wood.

Most cigars are manufactured in the Caribbean and Central America.
The Dominican Republic is the world's first producer of cigars. Most factories are located in Santiago, in the center of the island, and in close proximity to the tobacco fields grown in the fertile Cibao Valley. While tobacco and cigars have always traditionally been produced in the Dominican Republic, many Cuban cigar makers established in the Dominican Republic after the Cuban communist revolution, elevating the quality of Dominican cigars.

Cigar wrapper color varies from green (Double Claro or Candela) to black (Maduro or Oscuro) with a full range of browns in between.

The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
Ecuador is the perfect place to grow wrappers, because it is located on the Equator! And it has rich soils too. The weather conditions, with a nearly permanent cloudy sky, provide a natural shade, protecting the wrapper plants from sunshine and allowing the tobacco to grow thin and light. Ecuador supplies Connecticut and Sumatra type wrappers to many cigar factory in the world.

The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.
Mexican tobacco is primarily grown in the San Andres region due to its volcanic soil. It has a very distinctive flavor with a spicy and earthy profile. As a binder it adds to the cigar’s overall flavor.

Brazil
Filler is the term used to describe the tobacco inside a cigar or the "guts" of the cigar.
Brazil produces rich, medium to strong, dark tobaccos with a sweet taste and aroma. Most of the cigar production is concentrated on the eastern coast of Brazil, in the state of Bahia.

Prelight: wafers, leather, chocolate, salty cedar 1st: great full flavour from light up, white pepper, creamy mouthfeel, long peppery finish but gentle. Delicious creamy cedar. 2nd: honey, oats and cinnamon. 3rd: cinnamon takes over with the pepper and the nicotine goes up at the end. Really good construction and excellent taste.

This new AVO cigar attracted my attention immediately due to the unique tobaccos from seven countries: Ecuador, Peru, Brazil, Nicaragua, Honduras, Mexico and the Dominican—WOW! This was also the first AVO cigar released since the passing of AVO. Upon first light of this beautiful box press , notes of pepper and sweet spice hit you spot on. Just the right amount of bite without being overwhelming. Coffee notes are also apparent. Into the second third, the flavor profile expands a bit and nutty and earthy notes are upfront along with the coffee notes. An almost charred flavor also appears which is very pleasant and different. Into the final third, the pepper definitely increases. Some fruitiness jumps in also to join the coffee and spice notes which makes for a great finish. This AVO even though it is not extremely complex was a pleasure to smoke and a must try. Perfect for a beginner who wants to move forward. The draw was amazing — construction perfect— smoked cool to the very end. Enjoy the experience as I did!

I am not particularly an AVO fan. I find their sticks very average. However, this cigar stands out boldly. I loved the construction which was flawless. The flavor and aroma was much more substantial than other AVO's I have smoked. I get an umami essence from the stick every time I smoke it.
