The Casa de Garcia Connecticut cigars are made in the Dominican Republic with an aged blend of Honduran and Dominican fillers, all wrapped in a smooth Connecticut binder and Connecticut Shade wrapper. These are very consistent cigars that, while economical, deliver mild, sweet flavor from beginning to end.

M. Louie Gentlemen, can't you do anything about the tight knots located before and after the ring band on the Casa De Garcia Connecticut toro and robusto cigars? there are at least half of each bundle of 20 s that have these issues. It is difficult to enjoy an otherwise good cigar. The same issues are also with the maduro line of robustos, the fillers are packed so tight at certain points that one ends up throwing the cigar away. I can live with the uneven burn, but not the draw or lack of it.

This is a surprisingly good cigar, for the price point. I recommend these for anyone who wants a good cigar, on a budget. If you're like me, you buy less expensive cigars for general consumption, or sharing with friends that wouldn't know the difference between a three dollar cigar, and a 15 dollar cigar, and you save the good ones for special occasions - I would rate this as a good option for your general consumption.

When you purchase a bundle, it’s like playing the lottery. There is no consistency on the cigars. Some have nice and clean draw. Others are too tight. Also the paper ring has too much glue and sometimes when you try to take it out from the cigar it will damage the outside of the cigar. But for the price, it is a cigar that can be smoked every day (even more than one a day)

You have to address the construction of the cigar, The area immediately above and below the band are packed so tight and dense that one cannot draw at all. The burn is often uneven due to large dried stem pieces. This situation applies across the entire line. I enjoy the mild taste of the cigar, and hopes that these deficiencies can be addressed by the cigar maker. Over half the cigars in a 20 bundle are like that. They need to do something about it.

Okay, so reviews are like heads, we all have opinions about what we're smoking. Here's my thoughts on this one. This is my fourth or fifth "Bundle", and so most of it is familiar, and acceptable for what I call a "Pacifier" smoke. I save these for when I have only a short time to have a cigar. This latest bundle, like the last one, have far too many issues for me to continue placing an order for more. My issue is what I call a "knot". Along the length of the cigar there are places where it's extremely firm, knot like. No amount of massage appears to free, or loosen this knot. Frankly, it inhibits the draw to the point of being a waste of my time. When a cigar draws this hard, it's not worth the effort. I toss em'. In this latest bundle, and I still have several left, I've experienced this "knot" at least four, maybe five times. That's not acceptable. As for when they draw smoothly, it's a fine cigar for those times when I don't have time to "savor" the experience, and smoke something better. Oh, and believe me, there are much better cigars for times when I've time to really enjoy the moment. Enough said. I may not order them again. I'll be looking, and have been, for something inexpensive, and of satisfactory quality to suit the need.

Casa de Garcia has been my go-to budget smoke for a few years now, a good value for a casual every-day smoke. My last couple of bundles have each had several which were very difficult draws, nearly unsmokeable. Overall still a good value but quality is less consistent than it used to be.

I have found these to often be poorly wrapped and bound. Some (10%) cannot be smoked without trashing half of the cigar. Very often the Label STICKS to the wrapper causing one to pull off part of the wrapper. Either very sloppy or these cigars are for the wrapper TRAINEES.

Found them to have a little stronger taste than I like. But you should know that I like a really "cool" and mild taste in a cigar. The aroma is important also.

Casa Garcia products arq, undoubtedly, the best available cigar value in the market. I alternate between Arturo Fuente Chateau products and Casa Garcia and often the latter are more enjoyable....at a fraction of the cost. Their manufacture is impeccable, even if the rolling overlooks the occasional stem....all in all, a delicious cigar.

Very disappointed in this cigar. While I have only had a chance to smoke two of these cigars, I found that both of them had a very unfavorable and hard draw. Right now I am hoping that this is the exception for the remaining cigars I have.

Very disappointed even though they are inexpensive, the write-up made them sound better than they are - cheaply and poorly produced. Many of them did not draw well and clogged up too easily.....So far I have substituted Flor De Oliva in a similar size, and also inexpensive, but have had better results with the draw and the overall quality. Will revise my opinion later as to the Flor de Oliva if it warrants

I smoke one of these every morning. they're a great smoke, smooth all the way down to the ring. Very mild, with a perfect mellow flavor.

I tried one of these, and if they are at all consistent, this is by far the best two dollar cigar that I've tried yet. Right off the foot I got wonderful toasty flavors of alfalfa, nutmeg and vanilla with a natural sweetness and a smooth light body. Into the second third, the alfalfa got nice and earthy and a little bit of pleasant spiciness developed on top of that nice sweet tobacco flavor. Those flavors remained consistent all the way through the band. This cigar burned like a champ! A nice even burn that stayed warm on the ashtray while I got up several times to freshen my drink. If you're looking for strength, this might not be your favorite. I'd put it solidly on the mild end of the scale. Pairing notes: This one will go perfectly with your favorite cheap reposado tequila and some Sarah Vaughan on the speakers. Enjoy!

A good everyday cigar at a great price. I've been smoking these as my everyday smoke for some months now and I have to say that you cannot beat the price for this quality of cigar. The only complaint is that occasionally you get a cigar that just doesn't want to give a good draw.

Not at all a really good cigar. For the money it's not bad but is far removed from a good cigar. It has absolutely no quality change in taste. From the beginning to end, the same earthy/grassy taste. Spend a littie more for a good tasting cigar.

I like this for an everyday smoke. Draw seems different between cigars - some very easy, others not so easy. Quite mild on the taste - prefer the Quorums for taste, but it is still a great smoke.

Surprising! Extremely mild, decent burn, mild "creamy" draw. I wouldn't cut this one - use a cigar punch. But yes, for the price, can't go wrong.

All in all a good bargin for the smoker looking for an above average stick. After 4 bundles or so, I'm still pleased with the robusto's overall consistency. On the golf course, tailgating, on the beach or at home working off the day, this stick still works for me.
