The Ozgener Aramas cigar was crafted as a tribute to legendary cigar crafter Cano Ozgener, founder of CAO cigars. According to Tim Ozgener, Cano’s son and founder of Ozgener Family Cigars, the cigar’s name is a reference to Mount Ararat, which is an inactive volcano located in Turkey but closely borders Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Iran. Ararat is the national symbol for Armenia, which is Tim’s ancestral homeland. It is referred to as Masis by Armenians. The cigar’s name is a combination of the words Ararat and Masis. Tim worked with another cigar legend Ernesto Perez-Carrillo of EPC Cigars to create the blend for the Aramas, which consists of a Mexican San Andres maduro wrapper, an Ecuadorian Habano binder, and a Nicaraguan, Dominican, and USA Connecticut Broadleaf filler. It is a well-balanced, medium-bodied cigar with a deep complexity and an excellent construction. To develop the blend, Ozgener collaborated with another cigar legend Ernesto Perez-Carrillo. The cigars are handmade at Ernesto’s Tabacalera La Alianza in the Dominican Republic.
Cigar Origin
Dominican Republic
Most cigars are manufactured in the Caribbean and Central America.
The Dominican Republic is the world's first producer of cigars. Most factories are located in Santiago, in the center of the island, and in close proximity to the tobacco fields grown in the fertile Cibao Valley. While tobacco and cigars have always traditionally been produced in the Dominican Republic, many Cuban cigar makers established in the Dominican Republic after the Cuban communist revolution, elevating the quality of Dominican cigars.

The Ozgener Bosphorus brand is the creation of Tim Ozgener. He is the founder of Ozgener Family Cigars. His father, Cano was a legendary cigar crafter who founded the globally recognized CAO Cigars. Tim and his sister worked side-by-side with their father to grow CAO. The Bosphorus cigar brand honors the family’s Turkish roots. Located in Turkey, Bosphorus is a body of water that divides Europe and Asia. The cigar is composed of a savory, dark tan Ecuadorian Sumatra-seed wrapper placed over a dual binder made of Ecuadorian Connecticut and Nicaraguan leaves and a Nicaraguan filler.

H2000
The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
Habana 2000 or H2000, is a hybrid between El Corojo, Cuba's standard wrapper leaf last cultivated in the 90s, and a cigarette tobacco called Bell 61-10. Cuban cigar growers crossed these two tobaccos in order to get a wrapper leaf that would be more resistant to disease than the Corojo was. Although its introduction was controversial and the leaf was not widely accepted, its quality has improved over time and it is now being cultivated with success outside of Cuba as well.
