The Nasser The Goat by AJ Fernandez cigar started out as a shop exclusive for a cigar lounge in Haiti. But due to its great flavor profile, excellent construction, accessible price, and that it was made by master cigar crafter AJ Fernandez, word got around real fast. And now it is available in select cigar shops and in limited quantities to cigar enthusiasts outside of Haiti. The Nasser The Goat starts out with filler leaves from Esteli and Jalapa, Nicaragua (two regions well-known for their excellent tobacco). The leaves are covered by a Nicaraguan Corojo binder, which is then encased in an enticing dark chocolatey Mexican San Andres maduro wrapper. This awesome blend was developed by AJ Fernandez. The cigars are rolled at his factory in Nicaragua.

Definitely worth trying but not what I was hoping for. Medium bodied cigar veering towards mild. Flavor is not as impactful as some other AJ cigars. If you want something a bit softer and subtler from AJ this is it.

Good cigar with typical great AJ construction. Glad I tried but for me there are some better MSA wrapped cigars, including Olmec Claro made by AJ. Glad I tried and worth a try

Wow!! This cigar is fantastic. Draw is super smooth and produces excellent amount of smoke. Burns evenly. Retrohale is a bit rough but worth doing. Highly recommended

AJ Fernandez is most certainly a household cigar name at this point, and AJ owes some of that to being as prolific as his catalog proves. His latest offering is Nasser The Goat, originally a Haitian exclusive that became so popular, AJ decided the rest of the world needed to sample it. Now available at select merchants, Neptune of course being one of them, The Goat is making its rounds to humidors near you, and this is not one to miss. Consisting of a smooth Mexican San Andres wrapper on top of Nicaraguan binder and fillers, The Goat is rich and bold, with a hearty full-bodied profile that simultaneously won't dry out your palate or make your head spin. Coming in at a textbook 6x52 Toro size, The Goat showed me an even burn and about an hour of smoke time, albeit I may have been smoking a tad fast. I'm happy to report that the draw was wide open, allowing me to soak in the notes of leather, chocolate and spice with ease. In the end, I'm not sure if AJ Fernandez was referring to himself in naming this cigar (Greatest Of All Time), or if he's literally talking about the goat on the band, but either way - it fits. Try with a single malt Scotch to amplify these delicious flavor even further.

Really great in all categories. The opening was fantastic. Became bland and linear through the halfway point. The final third had the opening flavors back with a kick of pepper. For the price, I’ve had better but I will try again. Still a great stick
