The Angel Cuesta cigar brand was crafted to pay tribute to Angel LaMadrid Cuesta, an early 20th century cigar crafter from Spain. Angel and Peregrino Rey’s (his business partner) cigars were held in high esteem by King Alfonso XIII of Spain. Soon Cuesta was given the title of “Tobacco Purveyor for the Spanish King and Court.” The Angel Cuesta cigars feature a lush Ecuadorian Habano wrapper placed over premium filler leaves from three undisclosed countries. They are well-regarded for their superb construction and rich complexity. Only a select team of two highly skilled rollers are allowed to craft these exceptional cigars, which are handmade at J.C.
