Most cigars are manufactured in the Caribbean and Central America.
Despite many decades of war and revolution in this Central American country, the cigar industry has thrived due to the hard work and tenacity of Cuban exiles to the land such as Plasencia, Padron, Oliva, Ortez, and others. Tobacco has been a force of social stability, and the country is now one of the principal exporters of premium cigars in the world.

Cigar wrapper color varies from green (Double Claro or Candela) to black (Maduro or Oscuro) with a full range of browns in between.
Natural wrapper, also known as Colorado Claro, is light brown in color.

The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
Sungrown cigar wrappers come from tobacco plants that are grown directly under the sun without the use of man made tents to give shade as in Shade grown wrappers. As opposed to the Shade grown plants, sun grown tobacco plants grown thicker leaves with thicker veins and darker color. Sungrown wrappers can be appreciated for their rich taste and sweet undertones.

Indonesia
The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.
Tobacco is grown in many islands of the Archipelago but, as far as cigars are concerned, Sumatra and Java are the ones. Sumatra Wrappers are worldwide known. Central Java (Vorstenland) and East Java (Besuki) give fillers and wrappers in abundance. Indonesia is a key country for cigar tobacco.

one of the worst cigars i have had - purchased several bundles due to the price point, thinking they would be good when doing yard work, washing cars, etc. boy, was i wrong! very loosely constructed so much so that it becomes "unsmokeable" after going thru half the cigar; in addition, cigar burns so hot that it can't be enjoyed after smoking less than half of it. complete was of money - i will never buy these again!

Cap construction was suspect but the rest was built well with an easy draw. Taste of burnt coffee and the faintest industrial rubber. Not off putting, similar rubber to that of a clairin. Smoked 2/3 over the course of an hour, final third started getting noticeably tar. Without price factoring in I’d give it 2 stars, with price 3.

I've been smoking the "Robusto" for about a year now and my only issue was that it was too short. Meaning it didn't last long. I thought I'd try a different size and the "Gordito" is perfect. Satisfactory taste, last slightly over an hour and could go a bit longer if you take your time with it. I think this will be the right one from now on. Oh, I should also point out that buying the in a bundle sets a great price too.

Very slight sweet taste, very faint, you might miss it if you aren't looking out for it. Nice, mild, not offensive, smoke. This is one, that if you are outside somewhere, you can smoke it without (most) people getting upset or offended by you smoking this, you know while you are shopping in town, or sitting outside having a coffee or a drink with friends. This is one I would offer to friends who want to join you in smoking a cigar, and they have never or very rarely smoked one. I'll get a couple more of these.

I love these cigars! Just the right vitola and strength for me. Well made, good draw, burns nicely with a good aroma and taste. I have had cigars at 5 X the price which weren't as good. I have ordered another bundle...and a bundle of Maduro...and a bundle of Shade! Don't let the price or label put you off!

This was my first “non house” or boutique bundle. I really liked it. I just started smoking cigars and it sucks that I began with the premium stuff and not the everyday cigar, because now I want premium cigars everyday. I’d go broke if I went that route.
