El Mago Lotus

The Lotus cigar brand was inspired by a painting of a lotus flower that was painted by Maria Torre. She was the grandmother of Nicholas Fusco who is the founder of El Mago Cigars. The lotus flower symbolizes purity, strength, and rebirth. The Lotus cigar uses an Ecuadorian Habano maduro wrapper, which is known to have the least number of impurities. The wrapper covers a Nicaraguan Criollo binder and a Nicaraguan filler. The El Mago Lotus is a flavorful smoke that provides a smooth and satisfying smoking experience.

El mago cigars have quickly become one of my favorite brands. This lancero is not my favorite of their product line but still one hell of a smoke. Smooth as can be, but a little lighter than I was hoping for. Great for a relaxing evening on the back patio while enjoying. Beautiful night.

El Mago Cigars never ceases to amaze! Let’s start with the elegant tube and label — it’s just so nice to look at! The draw I get from this cigar is unmatched and provides for a long smoke with a taste that does not subside. The hints of coffee I get are apparent, while not overwhelming the earthy and spice-like flavors. Definitely going to be gifting some boxes of the Lotus for the holidays.
