In 2015, four friends, who were passionate about cigars, had a dream to produce their own cigars using tobaccos grown in the fertile soils of Haiti, their home country. To make this dream a reality, they formed Supreme Tobacco. In the fields of Mirebalais, which is located in Plateau Central of Haiti, Supreme Tobacco worked with local farmers to grow the tobacco leaves that would be rolled into the Bohekio: Haiti’s first ever premium boutique cigar. A well-balanced cigar, the Bohekio has a rich, flavorful profile with an appealing aroma and mouthwatering sweetness. This medium to full-bodied cigar has a binder and filler composed of premium Haitian tobacco that is expertly covered by a beautiful red-hued Sun-grown Habano Colorado Maduro wrapper. The cigar is named after Bohekio. He was the Cacique (Chief) of the Xaragua people, who were part of the Tainos: the first inhabitants of the island of Hispaniola.

The Bohekio Colors is a very affordable everyday smoke that’s perfect for when you are mowing the lawn or playing a round of golf. Handmade in Haiti, the Colors has a Haitian Corojo filler, and a broadleaf binder covered by a smooth, light brown Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. The cigar gets its name from the colorful headdress worn by the indigenous chief that represents the brand’s logo.

Ecuadorian Habano
The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.

This leaf is rich and flavorful thanks to the temperate climate of Ecuador and the quality of its volcanic soil.

Broadleaf
The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together.

Dominican
The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
The main tobacco region in the Dominican Republic is the Cibao valley in the northern part of the island. In the 60s, Cuban seeds were brought here by exiled Cuban cigar makers and found that they grew exceptional cigar tobacco, called Piloto Cubano. The native Dominican tobacco, called Olor, is milder than Piloto Cubano yet more aromatic. The first company to grow Dominican tobacco for cigar wrapper was Tabacalera Arturo Fuente in 1995.
