When first created, the Numero Uno line was an exclusive cigar that was made available only to visiting heads of state, dignitaries, and ambassadors. Due to its popularity, Joya de Nicaragua decided to make the line more accessible in 2018. And aficionados around the globe were elated. To celebrate the line’s fifth anniversary, they released the Joya de Nicaragua Numero Uno Deluxe Humidor Limited Edition with 150 Cigars. The specially designed wooden humidor is dressed in the Numero Uno’s brand and colors. It comes with an old fashion skeleton key that keeps its precious cigars safe from prying hands. The interior is lined with Spanish cedar and comes with one divider, one tray and a humidifier compartment. And of course, the humidor is filled with 150 Numero Uno cigars! The Numero Uno cigar has a refined, rich complexity with light peppery notes and an irresistible creaminess. The cigar offers an ultra-elegant smoking indulgence that’s perfect for special occasions, but you will want to enjoy it anytime. Each collectible humidor come with:

Humidor Capacity

Humidor capacity equals the number of cigars that can fit in the humidor. Since cigars vary significantly in size and shape, we use Churchill sized cigars (7" x 50) when calculating humidor capacity. Remember capacity is the MAXIMUM of cigars that can fit in the humidor. For better air & humidity circulation, we recommend to not fill your humidor more than 75% of its capacity.
Cedar Lining
Yes
Cedar has been used for many centuries in boats and in high-humidity environments, as it is famous for staying flat and not warping under high humidity conditions. All cedar humidors are rare because of how costly this wood is, however, most humidors come with a cedar lining. This is a thin, flat piece of cedar placed inside of the humidor to help maintain humidity and to maintain a tight seal when opening the humidor.

Some humidors, usually large ones, come with trays. Trays provide a better way to organize your cigars and help with air and humidity circulation throughout the humidor.

Most humidors come with dividers, usually a piece of cedar than you can move in your humidor to help you organize your cigars. Good practices in cigar storing include separating mild cigars and full body cigars, and separating flavored cigars from non-flavored.

There are dozens of different type of humidors, from travel humidors that can store 1 to 10/15 cigars (lightweight in leather or plastic) to a desktop that can store anywhere from 20 to 600 cigars! A commercial grade humidor can stock up to 3,000 cigars and is great for collectors and aficionados.

Glass top humidors allow you to check the cigars without opening it and therefore avoiding a humidity drop. Do not place your glass top humidor under bright lights or direct sunlight as cigars prefer the darkness.
Humidifier

The humidifier is the part that will maintain the humidity level in your humidor. Most of the humidors comes with so called "green foam" humidification systems. While it's the most commun humidification system, it works only one way by increasing humidity level but will not lower humidity if necessary. We recommend to update to the latest technologies like the crystals, gel or beads that work both ways and really help maintain 70% humidity in your humidor.
Hygrometer

Hygrometers are used to measure the humidity inside your humidor and make sure your cigars are safe at 70% humidity. There are different types: Analog, digital, external, internal, or built-in. Remember to always calibrate your hygrometer before use to make sure the reading is correct.
