The Plasencia Family’s cigar-making heritage is self-evident in their Plasencia Reserva Original line of fine cigars. Using only tobacco certified by the Organic Crop Improvement Association (OCIA), the Plasencia Reserva Original is considered the world’s first and only organic cigar. An earthy, dark-brown wrapper from the Jalapa and Estelí regions of Nicaragua surrounds the filler and binder, which is also from Nicaragua. The Plasencia Reserva Privada Original is a medium-strength maduro that produces a flavor which speaks of fruits, nuts, and caramel. In 2017, Plasencia Cigars received the Prime Time Award: Large Company of the Year award, which is presented by Cigar Coop.
