Lomo de Cerdo is Spanish for pork tenderloin.

  Tatuaje Lomo de Cerdo

  In 2010, Tatuaje released a shop only exclusive called the Pork Tenderloin. It soon developed a loyal following and became a much sought after cigar among aficionados. The Tatauje Lomo de Cerdo is a follow up to this awesome limited-release cigar. The Lomo de Cerdo features a savory Mexican San Andres maduro wrapper that drapes a Nicaraguan binder and filler. The cigar is capped with an appropriately placed pigtail. They are handmade by My Father Cigars in Nicaragua.

  Tatuaje Nicaragua

  Made in Nicaragua at the My Father factory by Jaime Garcia, the Tatuaje Nicaragua are rolled in classic Cuban tradition with Cuban seed tobacco grown in Nicaragua and a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. They are medium to full in flavor and feature a beautiful Cuban triple-cap.

  My Father Cigars manufactures handmade premium cigars in Miami and Esteli, Nicaragua. The company is owned and operated by Don Pepin, his son Jaime, and his daughter Janny. The "Garcia Family Industrial Park" located in Esteli, Nicaragua is a seven-acre complex with 9 buildings, over 1900 employees, where the Garcias supervise their cigar production from the tobacco field to the roller's table. Their Miami headquarters house 12 rollers that make all of the company's "handmade in Miami" brands.

  The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
  Mexican tobacco is very dark and the best leaves can be used as maduro wrappers. San Andres Maduro is a thick, medium bodied dark leaf, also called San Andres Morron. Like Connecticut Broadleaf, San Andres Maduro is stalk cut and used for binder and wrapper.

  Nicaraguan cigar binders are produced mainly in Esteli and Jalapa, both lands with volcanic soil and excellent climate for growing tobacco. Binders grown in Jalapa have sweet undertones. Corojo, Habana2000, Criollo, and Maduro binders are all produced in Nicaragua.
