The Sensei’s Sensational Sarsaparilla Belicoso is the third release of this sought after stick that was first issued in 2014. It is also the third collaboration between Cigar Dojo (a well-known cigar website dedicated to reviewing cigars) and Espinosa Cigars. This medium-bodied torpedo sports a savory dark chocolatey Mexican San Andres wrapper draped over a Nicaraguan binder and filler leaves from two of Nicaragua’s top tobacco producing regions: Condega and Esteli. This special blend offers a complexity of flavors with spicy, peppery, and nutty notes plus a hint of sarsaparilla root beer which inspired the cigar’s blend. It is handmade at Espinosa’s famed La Zona cigar factory in Nicaragua. Due to limited availability, this cigar is limited to 3 singles per customer.

  First released in 2014, the Sensei’s Sensational Sarsaparilla cigar became an instant hit. It was the first time that Cigar Dojo (a website dedicated to writing cigar reviews) collaborated with cigar impresario Erik Espinosa (of Espinosa Cigars and the famed 601 cigar) to create one memorable limited-edition stick. Now! It’s back again for a third release. This time the Sarsaparilla uses the original blend and size, but the band has been re-imagined and instead of bundles it comes in a 10-count collectible box. The Sensei’s Sensational Sarsaparilla features a very inviting dark chocolatey Mexican San Andres maduro wrapper that deftly cloaks a Nicaraguan binder and a filler composed of tobacco leaves from Condega and Esteli, which are two of Nicaragua’s top tobacco producing regions. The Sarsaparilla name was inspired by the blend, which provides the cigar’s noteworthy sarsaparilla root beer flavor. It is handmade in Nicaragua at Espinosa’s La Zona cigar factory.
