The Fuente family oversees every step of the cigar making process, from seed planting to cigar packaging. Blended with tobaccos set aside from Chateau Fuente's crop exclusively for the making of these cigars, the Arturo Fuente Gran Reserva cigars are then skillfully rolled with a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. Then, they are aged in Spanish cedar vaults to allow the blends to marry together, which produces an outstanding, well-balanced, flavorful taste.

  Connecticut Broadleaf is grown in the United States' Connecticut Valley and is prized for its dark, oily, full flavored and aromatic characteristics. The plants are grown in full sun giving this cigar wrapper its characteristic sweetness. The Connecticut Broadleaf plant leaves are mainly processed as maduro tobacco. Today, Connecticut Broadleaf seeds are being grown in other countries besides the United States.
