This lightly box-pressed Nicaraguan puro is handmade in Esteli with a dark Nicaraguan wrapper, a binder from Jalapa and fillers from Ometep, Condega and Esteli. Originally, this shape came from the practice of packing round cigars tightly in cardboard boxes which are then compacted using a manual press.
