  Rocky Patel Royale was brought into life after 6 years of collecting the right tobaccos for the blend. The wrapper is a Sumatra-seed leaf grown in Ecuador, the binder is composed of two leaves, a Connecticut Broadleaf and a Connecticut Shade, and the filler is Nicaraguan. The entire line of Rocky Patel Royale is box pressed and burns very well, delivering very pleasant, medium bodied flavors with complexity and elegance.

  A box pressed cigar is a cigar that has a square shape. Originally, this shape came from the practice of packing round cigars tightly in cardboard boxes which are then compacted using a manual press. The cigars are thus pressed into each other and become a "squarish" or semi-square shape. Today, cigar makers use square shaped molds or a wooden trunk press for their box pressed cigars, achieving a more defined square section.
