  This is Rocky Patel's popular The Edge cigar in a mild to medium bodied version. The Edge Lite is reminiscent of nuts and sweet cream, while staying true to its Nicaraguan core. The wrapper is a light brown Ecuador Connecticut Seed Shade leaf.

The weather conditions, with a nearly permanent cloudy sky, provide a natural shade, protecting the wrapper plants from sunshine and allowing the tobacco to grow thin and light. This climate allows tobacco growers to grow Connecticut-seed wrapper in the shade without shade cloths, resulting in more economical wrapper.

  Nicaraguan cigar binders are produced mainly in Esteli and Jalapa, both lands with volcanic soil and excellent climate for growing tobacco. Binders grown in Jalapa have sweet undertones. Corojo, Habana2000, Criollo, and Maduro binders are all produced in Nicaragua.
