Boveda Spanish Cedar holders are a great concept. It’s too bad that the magnets that are shipped with them can’t stand up to the weight of the holder and the four packs it holds. I found the cedar holder and packs sitting on top of my cigars when I opened the humidor. I ended up having to improvise. I purchased magnets and thin metal plates with adhesives attached from Amazon. The magnets I procured were much more powerful than what came with the holders. I attached the plates to the lid and attached the amazon magnets to the back of the cedar holders. Works great now!

The glue doesn’t work quite as well as I hoped I cleaned and prepped the surface exactly as the instructions said and I installed the magnet and waited 24 hours to install it but I think the combination of a seasoned humidor and the weight of Four 75% boveda packs is just too much for a top installation

I had the same experience Jimmy H. did with this product. The actual wood holders are well-made and as someone else said so well, more cedar is always good. The problem here is the supplied mounting magnet, which is an inadequate 2“x 2“ very weak magnet. It is not strong enough to support the holder alone without a single packet, let alone four. I contacted Neptune about this and they are sending me some other magnet hardware that I hope will actually work. I have a couple 320 gram Boveda packs for one of my humidors, and the magnets, mounting brackets, and mounting plates all work perfectly to keep those relatively heavy packets in place. Unfortunately, this is not a Boveda product so keep that in mind as your consider buying this.

I really wanted to like this product. the wood construction is great but the supplied adhesive to mount the unit is horrendous. It will not stay stuck to the lid as it should. I guess I could apply my own adhesive and make it work but I should not have to go to those lengths.

I have a glass top box - so mounted to bottom of internal shelf - seems to be a little heavy, but so far so good. It's the only way I could find to actually mount the packets Vs. just throwing them inside.
