Ashley  Got this about a week ago. I did as I was supposed to and released all old gas and air before filling back up. Now I can't get it to ignite. It's not releasing the gas. I have spark, but WILL NOT light.

  • NeptuneCigar.com  Hi Ashley, sometimes the burners can get clogged, but there's an easy fix. If you have compressed air(used to clean keyboards), spray the burners(where the flame should come out) to clear out any blockages. If you do not have compressed air, simply blow on the burners. Let us know if this helps.

Matthew Boggs  How easy is the igniteor to push down? I have arthritis and not much hand strength. Can you recommend an easy torch lighter for me?
Posted 12/21/2022
  • NeptuneCigar.com  This lighter is fairly easy to ignite, but it still requires a bit of thumb strength. Some viable alternatives that others suffering through arthritis are: Xikar HP4 Quad, Visol Artemis Triple Torch, Xikar Turim Double Torch

chuck  how do i refill my vertigo cigar lighter
Posted 11/19/2022
  • NeptuneCigar.com  First you will want to bleed out all of the old fuel and air inside of the tank. Turn the lighter upside down and use an eyeglasses screwdriver to gently compress the valve. Once you stop hearing the hissing sound of the old fuel and air coming out of the tank, and with the lighter still upside down, take your butane refill and insert the nozzle into the valve. You may need to repeat that step 2-3 times. Cheers!

Mike  Hey, I just filled my vertigo torch with butane 90 but for some reason the torch does not stay on every time I click it. Any suggestions what it can be?
Posted 8/21/2022
  • NeptuneCigar.com  Hi Mike, to help with this you may want to try clearing the jets. When we light a cigar many times we puff and blow smoke into the jets, clogging them. Use compressed air or blow on the jets to try and clear them.

Anthony  I can't fill this lighter to save the life of me. I've never had this much difficulty refilling any other lighter before. This is very frustrating! Is it possible it's just defective?
Posted 5/13/2018
  • NeptuneCigar.com  Hi Anthony, this lighter should work with any triple refined butane(we use XIKAR). When you try to fill, does the butane spew out? So that we can help, please email [email protected] with your order number.

  • Anonymous  Its likely the pressure has built up to high to fill. Bleed out the valve with a paper clip & try to fill. That should do the trick. These lighters are very dependable.

Lee  What would happen if I take the two screws out of the vertigo cyclone? eg. will it fall apart, or blow up?
Posted 12/4/2017
  • NeptuneCigar.com  The screws are likely there to hold in place the top part of the lighter. If removed, the lighter would likely fall apart.
