A medium bodied smoke with notes of coffee bean, cocoa, and sweetness and a fresh floral finish. Its USA Connecticut broadleaf maduro wrapper and binder cloak a Honduran, Nicaraguan and Dominican Piloto Cubano filler. Due to its smoothness and complexity the cigar pairs well with any beverage. The Punch Grand Cru was created in 1994 by Frank Llaneza to be one of the silkiest cigars made in Honduras. In 2010, the Punch Grand Cru Maduro No. II received a 93 rating and was awarded the #13 spot in Cigar Aficionado’s Top Cigars of the Year.

Consisting of a USA Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper and binder with fillers from Nicaragua and Honduras, the Punch Grand Cru Maduro is a solid and well-balanced smoke, with notes of coffee, cedar and just the right amount of spice rounding out its complex yet smooth profile.

  USA Connecticut Broadleaf tobacco is grown in the Connecticut River Valley area. The soil in this region is of glacial origins. The tobacco is dark, oily, flavorful, and aromatic. It is used primarily as a maduro wrapper, but it also serves as an excellent binder.
