Will tap water damage my cigars?

I put tap water in my humidor instead of distilled, is this going to damage my cigars?
Answer
Tap water will not damage your cigars. We do not recommend the use of tap water because in the long run it will leave mineral deposits in your humidifier and it will damage it. This is not a huge problem since you can always replace the humidifier without having to change your humidor, however we suggest that you use distilled water from now on.
