Nothing like the old ones, very mild but nothing special about the taste. Disappointed.

Your typical lars tetens cigar. Packed with aroma and flavor but not much on the lips/tongue like infused or dipped cigars. Great smoke.

If you are looking for a typical lars tetens conditioned cigar, this isn't it. Good smoke though.

After the better part of twenty five years since my last Lars Teten I anxiously awaited the arrival of my five pack of Asadachies. They looked every bit of how I remembered them. A sturdy, well built, intimidating cigar with a "hipster" band. I stored them away in my humidor with the intent on letting them age for a couple of months. Let it be known that I am a weak man and after a week and a half I couldn't wait any longer. I had to light one of these beauties up! I noticed on both the day I received them and the day I smoked my first one that these did not have that Lars Teten aroma that I recalled. There was no hint of that infused cigar that's been chased by Drew Estates "Acid" line, which I found odd as their description indicates they are infused. Their unlit smell was that of a quality, premium cigar with very nice earthy notes. It lit easily and the draw as exceptionally easy, but not too easy. I found the taste to be on the mild to medium side and a little dry on the front of my pallet. The taste continued on the drier, earthy, leathery side with a bit of pepper and NO sweetness. About half way through the creaminess started to show itself, just not that luscious, rich leathery taste I remember. The burn was perfect the whole way down with such a sturdy medium gray ash that only needed to be knocked off four times. Naturally it got a little bitter towards the end where I was smoking it with the tips of my fingers to avoid getting burned, but not enough to make me want to snuff it out and walk away from it. It was never even close to having to be re-lit. If somebody had removed the band and handed it to me I would have not guessed it was an infused with anything, but fine tobacco. I think I'll let the others sit a while longer in my humidor before trying my next one, but in no way was I disappointed. It was clearly the closest thing to a Cuban that I've had in a long time. Plenty of smoke, just not deep in richness. Welcom
