From its filler to its dark, toothy maduro wrapper the Monticello uses all Nicaraguan premium aged tobaccos and delivers creamy notes of coffee, nuts, and cocoa with hints of spice. Only Oliva’s most experienced torcedors are permitted to roll the Monticello. A family owned company, the Oliva Cigar Co. is considered the second largest grower of Cuban-seed tobacco in Nicaragua.
