The CAO Pilon Corona is made by General Cigar in Nicaragua, and pays homage to the tobacco term 'Pilon', which refers to a stack of dried tobacco leaves about to enter the fermentation process. This smooth medium-bodied corona features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper on top of Nicaraguan binder and filler to create a wonderful blend offering notes of cream, cedar, nuts, and spice.

  CAP Pilon is named after the "Pilón", in tobacco parlance, a stack of dried tobacco leaves that is created to begin the process of fermentation. Fermenting tobacco in a pilon is an old Cuban tradition that allows natural fermentation with maximum flavor and color. The makers of CAO have blended a cigar using a silky Ecuadorian Habano wrapper leaf that has been fermented in a pilon. The wrapper has a beautiful color and the cigar is woody, spicy and sweet.
