  The CasdagliTraditional was created as an homage to Carlos Valdez Mosquera, a master Cuban cigar crafters who rolled Bespoke's cigars in the '90s. After Carlos retired, Casdagli had the cigar made at the famed KBF factory where Hendrik Kelner Jr was able to reproduce the original blend without fail. A mild cigar, the Casdagli Traditional produces a full-bodied smoking experience.

While tobacco and cigars have always traditionally been produced in the Dominican Republic, many Cuban cigar makers established in the Dominican Republic after the Cuban communist revolution, elevating the quality of Dominican cigars.

  Established in 2012, the Kelner Boutique Factory (KBF) was founded in the Dominican Republic by Hendrik Kelner, Jr., who is the son of Hendrick “Henke” Kelner, Davidoff’s Master Blender. KBF manufactures cigars for Casdagli Cigars (formerly known as Bespoke Cigars). They also produce the Smoking Jacket Cigars, which is their own brand.

  The main tobacco region in the Dominican Republic is the Cibao valley in the northern part of the island. In the 60s, Cuban seeds were brought here by exiled Cuban cigar makers and found that they grew exceptional cigar tobacco, called Piloto Cubano. The native Dominican tobacco, called Olor, is milder than Piloto Cubano yet more aromatic. The first company to grow Dominican tobacco for cigar wrapper was Tabacalera Arturo Fuente in 1995.
