The cigar is made of premium tobaccos of undisclosed origins and covered by a savory dark chocolatey maduro wrapper. The Circle of Life cigar is handmade in the Dominican Republic at the Casa Carrillo factory, which is owned and operated by Ernesto Perez-Carrillo.

  To develop the blend for the Circle of Life cigar, Rick Rodriguez (founder of the West Tampa Tobacco Co) tapped on the shoulders of his long-time mentor Ernesto Perez-Carrillo. When starting out in the cigar industry, Rick learned everything he could about tobacco and cigars from Ernesto. According to Rick, “...reuniting with Ernesto on Circle of Life was an opportunity to connect with my past and lay another brick in my future.” The cigar’s name subtly references the life-long bonds that are formed in the industry as well as with consumers of premium cigars. The Circle of Life cigar features a dark, smooth maduro wrapper and is made of leaves of undisclosed origins. It offers a flavorful, medium-bodied smoking experience that’s perfect for an evening of reminiscing with old friends.

While tobacco and cigars have always traditionally been produced in the Dominican Republic, many Cuban cigar makers established in the Dominican Republic after the Cuban communist revolution, elevating the quality of Dominican cigars.
