Made of carefully aged tobacco, this potent cigar offers a deep complexity of flavors with its notes of sweetness, spice, earth and smooth creaminess. Its dark Nicaraguan shade-grown wrapper drapes a Jalapa, Nicaragua binder and a filler made of Dominican Republic and Nicaraguan leaves. The La Vereda’s rare wrapper requires aging for a minimum of four years before it can be applied. The cigar’s filler leaves have been aged for at least three years prior to rolling. To further enhance its unique smoking experience, after rolling the cigars are aged for 90 days in a heavily monitored climate-controlled environment. The cigars are handmade at Ernesto Perez-Carrillo’s Tabacalera La Alianza in the Dominican Republic.
