A medium-bodied cigar with a sweet profile with notes of pepper and spice. Its dark Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper shrouds a Dominican Republic binder and a Brazilian and Dominican filler. Handmade in the Dominican Republic, the Cuesta Rey Centenario Robusto No. 7 Maduro was created to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Cuesta Rey brand, which was the cigar of choice for King Alfonso XIII, Spain's ruling monarch from the late 19th to the early 20th century.
