A medium-bodied cigar with a spicy, woody, and sweetness profile. Its red-hued Cameroon wrapper cloaks a Dominican binder and filler composed of Nicaraguan and USA leaves. The cigars are handmade at the storied La Aurora Cigar Factory in the Dominican Republic. After rolling, the Fratello Lunar cigars are stored in a collectible box designed to resemble a lunar lander. The Fratello Lunar cigar line was crafted to commemorate the time-honored tradition of celebrating successful space missions by smoking premium cigars. The Fratello logo was chosen to be onboard Intuitive Machines’ Nova-C lunar lander, which will carry special equipment to the moon. The equipment will help facilitate future manned missions.

  The Fratello Lunar cigar was crafted to celebrate the time honored tradition of enjoying a premium cigar after a successful space mission. Fratello’s actual logo (headed by Omar de Frias, a former NASA analyst) was chosen to go to the moon in collaboration with Intuitive Machines, which designed the lunar lander that will be used in missions to the moon. The Fratello Lunar cigar is available in a Cameroon wrapper with a Dominican binder and a Nicaraguan and USA filler. It is also available with an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper, a Mexican binder and a USA and Nicaraguan filler. The cigars are handmade at the storied La Aurora cigar factory in the Dominican Republic. The cigars are stored in a collectible box designed to resemble the lunar module.

While tobacco and cigars have always traditionally been produced in the Dominican Republic, many Cuban cigar makers established in the Dominican Republic after the Cuban communist revolution, elevating the quality of Dominican cigars.

  La Aurora is a family owned and operated cigar factory established in Santiago, Dominican Republic in 1903 by Don Eduardo Leon Jimenes, the grandfather of its current President, Guillermo Leon. La Aurora is the oldest cigar factory in the Dominican Republic.

  The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
  Cameroon wrappers are grown in the East part of the country. The growing area spreads over the eastern border, into the Central African Republic. Wrappers are air grown, without fertilizers and pesticides, by small farmers. The average plantation size is about one acre. The seed is originally from Sumatra, introduced in the country just after WWII.

  The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together. 
  Dominican Republic is a traditional tobacco-growing country. In the 60's, a Cuban seed was introduced and the resulting tobacco, called Piloto Cubano, became famous as a good substitute of the Cuban tobacco that was no longer allowed to enter the USA. Piloto Cubano is full bodied while the Dominican Olor tobacco is milder but more aromatic.
