Handmade in Nicaragua. The Illusione “G” Gigantes is a follow-up to this boutique brand’s popular “R” Rothchilde, and it offers a fuller and deeper smoking experience.

  The Illusione “G” Gigantes is handmade in Nicaragua by Casa Fernandez and uses a Nicaraguan binder and Aganorsa long-filler tobaccos, which is surrounded by a dark Mexican San Andrés maduro wrapper. A full-strength cigar, the Illusione G Gigantes offers a surprisingly medium-bodied flavor of mocha, chocolate with hints of nuts.

  Aganorsa Leaf (formerly known as Casa Fernandez) is one of Central America's largest tobacco growers. Their factory, Tabacalera Tropical, is located in Esteli, Nicaragua and employs hundreds of cigar rollers.

  Mexican San Andres Maduro

  The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
  Mexican tobacco is very dark and the best leaves can be used as maduro wrappers. San Andres Maduro is a thick, medium bodied dark leaf, also called San Andres Morron. Like Connecticut Broadleaf, San Andres Maduro is stalk cut and used for binder and wrapper.

  The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together. 
  Corojo tobacco was first developed in Cuba in the 1930s and quickly became popular as the wrapper on some of the best cigars. By the end of the 90s, Cuba stopped growing Corojo because of its susceptibility to pests and diseases. Ironically, Corojo has since become more popular outside of Cuba, as it has been replicated in tobacco farms in Nicaragua, Honduras, Ecuador and the Dominican Republic.

  The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together. 
  Costa Rica Habano tobacco is a Cuban-seed tobacco that is grown in Costa Rica, and it is fermented using traditional Cuban methods. The tobacco is highly regarded for its Cubanesque flavor and aroma.
