The La Flor Dominicana 1994 series celebrates La Flor Dominicana’s twenty years of making memorable cigars. The 1994 Rumba is a short, hefty Toro that is packed with flavor. The 1994’s dark Colorado wrapper uses Mexican San Andrés tobacco, which shrouds a binder and filler from the Dominican Republic to create a full strength cigar.

The wrapper is a San Andres Mexican leaf with binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic, grown in the company's own farm, La Canela.  This flavor packed cigar burns evenly and flawlessly, delivering complex, full bodied smoke.

  La Flor Dominicana was founded in 1996 by husband and wife team, Litto and Ines Gomez. Located in Santiago, Dominican Republic, the factory produces some of the most highly rated cigar brands. The company cultivates and ferments their own tobacco at their farm in La Canela.

  Mexican tobacco is very dark and the best leaves can be used as maduro wrappers. In San Andres de Tuxtla (in the state of Vera Cruz), there is a very interesting production of Sumatra seed wrappers. Dark air cured tobaccos are produced in Mexico, mainly in Vera Cruz and Tampico provinces, on the East Coast along the Gulf. There is also some production in Yucatan.
