This is the first collaboration between AJ Fernandez, a renowned master blender, and Bill Paley of La Palina cigars, but this is a partnership bonded by true passion for tobacco. The cigar was blended with a dark Ecuadorean wrapper and Nicaraguan binder and filler. La Palina Nicaragua Oscuro offers fans a new flavor that is rich and spicy, while keeping its commitment to great quality and craftsmanship.

  Nicaraguan cigar binders are produced mainly in Esteli and Jalapa, both lands with volcanic soil and excellent climate for growing tobacco. Binders grown in Jalapa have sweet undertones. Corojo, Habana2000, Criollo, and Maduro binders are all produced in Nicaragua.
