This full-strength cigar delivers not so subtle notes of spice and pepper tempered by a natural tobacco sweetness. Its oily USA Connecticut maduro wrapper drapes a Brazilian binder and a Honduran and Nicaraguan filler. Once rolled, each stick is then sheathed in a gold foil wrapper to ensure its freshness. The Liga Privada Unico Year of the Rat was launched to coincide with the Chinese New Year. The cigars are handmade in Nicaragua.

  Connecticut Broadleaf is grown in the United States' Connecticut Valley and is prized for its dark, oily, full flavored and aromatic characteristics. The plants are grown in full sun giving this cigar wrapper its characteristic sweetness. The Connecticut Broadleaf plant leaves are mainly processed as maduro tobacco. Today, Connecticut Broadleaf seeds are being grown in other countries besides the United States.

  Brazil grows tobacco from North to South. The East Central State of Bahia is an important cigar tobacco producer. The Northern State of Alagoas hosts a production around the city of Arapiraca where maduro wrappers are grown.
