A medium bodied smoke with a warm woody profile accented by sweetness and fruity notes. Its oily, Mexican San Andres Habano wrapper is aged for 4 years before it is applied to a four-year old Sumatra binder and four-year old Dominican and Nicaraguan filler leaves. The Micallef Migdalia Special Edition Corona was created in honor of International Women’s Day (which is celebrated annually on March 8th), and it pays tribute to the women who have made a great impact in all areas of life especially in the cigar industry. The cigar itself is named after Migdalia Sanchez who is the matriarch of the Gomez-Sanchez family, which is Micallef Cigars’ manufacturing partner. The cigars are handmade in Nicaragua.
